Due to the issues at the City of Houston’s NEWPP, the Authority is implementing Stage 1 of our Drought Contingency Plan immediately.

NHCRWA Water Quality Notification
The Authority is currently receiving clear water from the NEWPP, and as the discolored water still in the system works its way through the system, the water received by the districts will regain its normal high quality.
