Notice of Appointment of Designated Agent – Election 11-2026

Deadline for Filing for Candidacy:

The deadline to file an application for a place on the November 3, 2026 Directors Election Voting District 1, Voting District 2 and Voting District 3 Ballot is August 17, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. The first day that such application may be filed is July 18, 2026. The last day to file a Declaration of Write-In Candidacy is August 21, 2026.

Fecha límite para presentar candidatura:

La fecha límite para presentar una solicitud de plaza en las papeletas de las Elecciones de Directivos del Distrito de Votación 1, Distrito de Votación 2 y Distrito 3 es el 17 de agosto de 2026 a las 17:00 horas. El primer día en que se podrá presentar dicha solicitud es el 18 de julio de 2026. El último día para presentar una Declaración de Candidatura por Escrito es el 21 de agosto de 2026.

Qualifications for Office:

To be eligible to be a candidate for the office of Director of the North Harris County Regional Water Authority, a person must:

1. Be a qualified voter in the voting district from which the person is elected (Tex. Spec. Loc. Laws Code § 8888.104); and

2. Meet the applicable general eligibility requirement for a public elective office in the State of Texas as set out in Texas Election Code § 141.001, to the extent it does not conflict with Tex. Spec. Dist. Loc. Laws Code § 8888.104.
